Why should you become a member of the Lancaster Amateur Radio Club?

Founded in 1987 … and rapidly grew to become one of the most active and largest clubs in the Buffalo WNY area, with more than 100 members on the roster.

Our clubhouse, is open every Thursday 6:30PM  – ?  with members, using and enjoying the radio room that has several HF radio stations, 2m/70cm, packet, APRS, and computer workstations that all members and guests can use and enjoy.

The club house also has a repair room, break room, repeater room, and meeting room.

As a member, your participation allows access to all clubs equipment and facilities.

Membership is open to all. You do not need to be a licensed amateur to join. Whether you are new to the hobby, recently licensed, or an “old hand” on the bands you will be welcomed . We pride ourselves in being an open, friendly and diverse group with a common interest, amateur radio.

The Lancaster Amateur Radio Club is big on family. Our events are often attended by family members and children, and to any younger hams out there, don’t be afraid to come out. Our club has members of every type, young and old.

Clubhouse hours / Location:   open every Thursday 6:30 – till ?  at  525 Pavement Rd, Lancaster, NY – located within the Town Center – we are located at the end of the main road, last building left side.   Map
